How to save money and get great coffee?

Get your own Espresso Machine.

Depending on where you buy your coffee beans, a 6oz cappucino only cost RM 1.60 to RM 2.10. Of the total cost, RM 1.00 is actually the cost of fresh milk.

So, imagine Starbucks charge me RM 8.00, every cup of coffee I make at home instead of buying from Starbucks, I save RM 6.00 at least.

Therefore, how much would a decent home espresso machine cost? The machine in Starbucks cost at least RM 20,000.00 onwards. A decent home espresso machine only cost you RM 2,000.00.

And I can assure you that with the proper guidance and practice, you can make a cup of coffee that is consistently better than any from the major coffee chains.

How do I know? Heheheh.

    Hi Zeek,

Thank you for dropping by. Never heard of Rengit coffee beans. What you are getting are call Robusta beans. Lower grade and quality then Arabica beans.

Starbucks uses arabica beans. But I assure you if you got fresh Robusta beans, the potential to create a nicer cups of coffe than Starbucks are always there.

I usually get my higher grade coffee beans at RM 16 for 250g. I can make at least 15 to 25 cups of coffee (depending on the “kau”ness). It is still way cheaper than all the major coffee chains outlet. Let’s not forget, they tasted better too 🙂
